The Block couple Dylan and Jenny lists stunning beachside new build

Dylan and Jenny are selling their Palm Beach luxury new build.
THE Block contestants Dylan and Jenny are selling the newly completed Gold Coast home they started building before joining the cast of the hit renovation show.
It is another milestone for the newlyweds, who have built two houses, sold one, and tied the knot, all in the past year.
And the energetic pair has no plans on slowing down, with their next project already in the works as they make the most of the momentum generated from their appearance on Channel Nine’s The Block: Tree Change in 2022.

Dylan Adams, 29, and Jenny Heath-Adams, 26, always planned on selling the stunning coastal Hamptons-style abode at 100 Palm Beach Ave, Palm Beach — despite describing it as their “dream home”.
The five-bedroom, three-bathroom home in the popular beachside suburb is marketed by Ed Cherry, of Harcourts Coastal, and goes under the hammer on April 29.
“I think people honestly thought this was our dream home, but we’re going to build heaps of dream homes,” said Mrs Heath-Adams.

Features of the luxury build, named Palm House, include 6m-high cathedral ceilings, engineered timber floors, VJ panelling, a spacious open living and dining area, and a Hamptons-inspired kitchen with a stone island bench.
Sunlight fills the home via a total of 9 skylights and clerestory windows, while wide glass sliding doors open onto generous al fresco decking and a breakfast bar.
There’s also a magnesium pool, firepit, outdoor shower and low-maintenance lawns, and the property is fitted with an energy-saving Red Earth battery system.

Mrs Heath-Adams quit her former job as a dental nurse to take on a carpentry apprenticeship, and works alongside her builder husband in their own business, recently rebranded Dylan and Jenny Projects.
Describing herself as a “tradie lady”, Mrs Heath-Adams was The Block’s first tradeswoman contestant.
“I think there will be more and more women entering the trades,” she said.
“On a work site they treat me the same as all the other boys. It’s more people from outside who kind of judge and say they don’t think girls in general can actually do it.
“It sucks, but as they see more girls do it they will get their heads around it,” she said.
They were the last couple to sell their home on The Block
The couple relished their time on The Block, but were gutted when the house they built in Gisborne South, in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, didn’t sell at auction, where the reserve price was set at an ambitious $4.08m.
It was the last of the series’ 5 renovated houses remaining when it finally sold in February for an undisclosed sum.
Property records show they secured the 513sqm Gold Coast lot for $840,000 in November 2020.

The existing three-bedroom 1960s home was relocated to land in Russell Island, off Brisbane, and the block cleared to make way for the new build.
“We finished building at the end of February, just before our wedding, and we thought, ‘let’s just sell it while everything is hot and keep rolling’,” Mrs Heath-Adams said.
“Everyone thinks we’re crazy doing everything at once. We got married last month, we’re selling the house, we’re going to Bali.
“But coming off The Block, we have a lot of people who want to work with us and we want to take advantage of it, keep it hot property.”
They tied the knot at a romantic ceremony at Sanctuary Cove on the northern Gold Coast, with their co-stars among the 150 guests.
“We are looking for another piece of land, in Palm Beach or anywhere along the coastline.
“With the next one, we will keep flipping because that’s what we want to do,” Mrs Heath-Adams said.
