Al fresco living at 9 Tallai Rd
An acreage display home in Tallai inspired by a modern farmhouse has sold for $5.6m in the Gold Coast’s richest property transaction of the week.
The 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom property at 9 Tallai Rd was sold fully furnished and came complete with a spectacular guesthouse and lavish entertaining areas.
It was marketed by Sam Guo and Julia Kuo, of Kollosche.

Three years in the making, the 2019-built home has never been lived in but was on display as the “supreme version” of Metricon’s Signature range, showcasing top-of-the-line fixtures and fittings available to customers wishing to build their own home.
Mr Guo said the single-level home, known as The Fontaine, presented excellent value for buyers and attracted strong interest through the sales campaign.
It sold to a large local family, who planned to use the one-bedroom guesthouse as accommodation for their adult son.

“This was a very well-designed, high-quality build with premium finishes and the sale price was way below replacement value,” Mr Guo said.
“The buyers loved the design and the large size, and with two acres of land they also have the option to put another residence at the front in the future.”
Features of the 8,094 sqm property include a weatherboard and stone facade with porte-cochere entry, while inside elegant interiors with pendant lighting, timber flooring and decorated joinery are crowned with vaulted ceilings.
