A waterfront double block on exclusive Isle of Capri will be auctioned this month.
Two neighbouring homes forming one waterfront megablock on exclusive Isle of Capri will go under the hammer together this month.
The parcel of land at 111 and 113 Amalfi Dr totals 1275sq m and comprises the owner’s family home as well as the next-door block, which was acquired by the same owner last year.
There is an existing house on each of the two side-by-side blocks, which measure 622 and 653sqm.
The holding comprises the owner’s family home and an adjacent property acquired last year.
Marketing agent Joel Madam, of Harcourts Coastal, said the unique holding was an “extremely rare” opportunity for a buyer to secure a north-facing double block in the sought-after Gold Coast enclave.
“Amalfi Dr is one of the premier streets of Isle of Capri, but actually this is one of only a handful of properties with that desirable north to water aspect in a very private, sheltered bay position with beautiful views,” Mr Madam said.
“There’s nothing else like it where you have the opportunity to purchase two substantial waterfront blocks in such an ideal cul-de-sac location to build your dream home.”
Interest from prospective bidders had been fielded from interstate as well as from local residents, Mr Madam said.
The two blocks for sale total 1275sq m.

Property records show the four-bedroom family home at 111 Amalfi Dr was built in 1988, and transferred to Daniel Lawton in March this year. The sale price was $1.65m.
Mr Lawton purchased the property at 113 Amalfi Dr for $900,000 in October last year. It was the first time the home had changed hands since it was built in 1975.

Isle of Capri is one of Surfers Paradise’s most exclusive riverfront neighbourhoods.
Homes on the canals are typically tightly held within families, but quickly snapped up by cashed-up buyers when released to market.
