Gold Coast property: Clive Palmer buys another Sovereign Islands mansion

Clive Palmer has been busy shopping for mansions on the Gold Coast.
Queensland’s richest man Clive Palmer has cemented his title as King of Sovereign Islands on the Gold Coast, splashing more than $28 million on three mansions.
He this week emerged as the buyer of a $4.5 million Sovereign Islands property at Parklane Tce.

Clive Palmer spent $4.5 million on this property at Parklane Terrace, Sovereign Islands.

Selling agent Chris Moyer would not disclose the buyer or price, however government land title reports revealed Mr Palmer as the purchaser.
The four-level residence has five bedrooms, six bathooms and plenty of space to entertain.
“It is a beautiful northeast facing property on the Broadwater and it is ultra modern,” Mr Moyer said.

Clive Palmer paid $20 million for this mega mansion at King Arthurs Court, Sovereign Islands.

That transaction took place a few weeks before Mr Palmer dropped $20 million on futuristic-looking mega mansion at King Arthurs Court that adjoins his existing Sovereign Islands home.
And in another property play Mr Palmer paid $4.001 million at auction for 54 Royal Albert Cres, Sovereign Islands two weeks ago.
The former politician is no stranger to the high-end residential market, with a long list of mansions and residential properties spanning the Gold Coast, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the far north of Queensland.

Clive Palmer bought this property at Royal Albert Cres, Sovereign Islands at auction last month.

They include several Sovereign Islands homes, an oceanfront RSL prize home in Jefferson Lane, Palm Beach, which he bought last year for $3.9 million, a $3.3 million tennis court in the Hope Island Resort, a $12 million beachfront mansion on Hedges Ave in Mermaid Beach, and a $5 million home and a $7.5 million riverfront property in Fig Tree Pocket in Brisbane’s western suburbs.
