The Vantage Point Dr home goes under the hammer in July
Buyers can kick off their blue suede shoes and dive into this Burleigh Heads entertainer on a block once owned by Elvis’ famous pop rival, Pat Boone.
The luxury home’s x-factor has drawn other celebrity owners since, including concert tour promoter, Andrew McManus.
Mr McManus brought some of the world’s biggest acts to Australian shores, including KISS, Fleetwod Mac, Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, and Luciano Pavarotti.
The music industry heavyweight sold the Vantage Point Dr property to local identity Luigi ‘Lou’ Cerantonio, former owner of the Glitter Strip nightclub, Howl at the Moon.
Property records show the four-bedroom house was built in 1990 — but long-standing residents of the street say the American 1950s crooner Pat Boone had owned the original home on the block before it was demolished.

The existing house on a 571sq m elevated block is marketed by Amir Mian and Emma Gregory, of Amir Prestige, and goes under the hammer on July 2.
Ms Gregory said families will fall in burning love with quirky features including the one-of-a-kind indoor/outdoor pool and lifesize chess set — but the real showstopper is the spectacular coastal views.
“The pool is very unique as it flows from outside, where you have the outdoor terrace and barbecue area, through into the main living area of the home,” Ms Gregory said.
“It is fantastic for a family because the kitchen and dining areas are positioned just off the pool inside the house, so you can be cooking or sitting down to dinner while the kids are swimming.

Positioned on one of Burleigh’s highest points within walking distance to Tallebudgera Creek, the three-storey home has high ceilings and expanses of glass capturing 360 degree views from Coolangatta to Surfers Paradise.

There are three bedrooms on the top floor, including the master bedroom and marble ensuite, while downstairs offers dual living with a self-contained one-bedroom apartment.
Property records show the house sold to Mr McManus for $640,000 in 2000.
Mr Cerantonio purchased it for $1m in 2011, selling in 2015 to the current owners, a local family who do not wish to be named.

Boone was regarded as a pioneer of modern rock and a friendly rival of Elvis.
While his ownership of the property pre-dated online records, newspaper reports of the time show Boone spent time in the region in the late 1960s promoting development of the newly established northern NSW town of Ocean Shores.
The sleepy beachside hamlet was named for Boone’s residence in Ocean Shores, Washington.
