A showstopper Gold Coast house inspired by the USA’s south-Florida coast has been crowned best waterfront development in the country.
Armorel at 84 Oceanic Drive, Mermaid Waters, took the title in the Asia-Pacific region of the Asia Property Awards.

Developed by prestige Capital Luxury Residences (CLR), Armorel is a palatial Miami-inspired house featuring six bedroom and seven bathrooms.
The block includes 30m of canal frontage and features views of the Gold Coast city skyline.
The property was up against seven other houses in the Asia-Pacific but won the award in an unanimous vote of 12 judges.
“The entire project ticked all the boxes with regards to luxury waterfront development
being level of craftsmanship, materials, leisure facilities and indoor/outdoor living,” the judges said.

CLR’s CEO, Alissa Birch said she was delighted to receive the award on behalf of the company.
“To win a global award for our architectural design and meticulous construction is truly
remarkable for our team,” she said.
“This means so much to our entire team who have poured our hearts, minds and various talents, skills and craftsmanship into this amazing luxury waterfront home.

Armorel is CLR’s 22nd property to be completed.
Armorel now goes into the global awards.
Designed for ultimate luxury family living, Armorel features a U-shaped floorplan which allows residents to enjoy waterfront and skyline views from all angles of the home.
Standout features include a sculptural spiral staircase, a 4m skylight, sunken fire-pit with built-in seating, poolside lounging area, quarter-sized basketball court and a 12m pontoon.
Armorel now goes into the global awards, competing against the winning waterfront properties of every region around the world.
The Mermaid Waters property is CLR’s 22nd property to be completed since establishing in 2019 in Queensland.
Potential buyers have been taken through Armorel despite it not being officially on the market yet.
