Mrs Rossi was the first woman in the country to have her own televised program – A Woman’s World with Mary Rossi.
The mother-of-10 also established Mary Rossi Travel in Sydney in 1970, following her successful TV career.
She was also a pioneer in other fields, championing the rights for women to work outside the home while raising a family.
Ms Rossie died earlier this year at the age of 95.

Her Main Beach residence is being marketed by Ray White Prestige Gold Coast agents Robert Graham and Jordan Thams.
Mr Graham said the residence offered spectacular views of the Hinterland, Broadwater, city skyline and beachfront.
“It’s one of the highest sub-penthouses in Main Beach in an iconic building that everyone knows,” Mr Graham said.
“It’s north-facing with 294sq m of luxury living and there’s only one other apartment on that floor.”
Mr Graham said it was a rare opportunity to secure a sub-penthouse in The Inlet.
It goes to auction on October 21.
The listing comes after Mrs Rossi’s family estate in Sydney hit the market with a $20 million plus price tag.
One of the North Shore’s finest grand family homes, the landmark estate at 62 Cliff Road, Northwood, is on offer for the first time in 60 years.
