WHAT would you pay to holiday at surfing legend Mick Fanning’s house?
The three-time world champion is auctioning a five-night stay at his Gold Coast beach house at Bilinga with the money raised going to northern NSW flood victims.
Property records reveal he paid $3.25 million for the beachfront block in 2011, before building the house in 2014.

The all-white coastal-inspired pad rises to three levels over the beachfront with a pool on the middle level.
Described as an “oceanside resort”, the residence has a large entertaining area with views from Snapper Rocks to Stradbroke Island.
It’s got a spacious, open-plan design and is gated off from the street. There is even a guesthouse on the property.
Fanning and his partner, Breeana Randall, had previously lived in the house but are now understood to be living elsewhere on the Coast with their young son.

The current bid for the five-day stay, at time of press, is $16,044.
The once-in-a-lifetime holiday is part of the inaugural Mick Fanning Charity Golf Tournament, being held on June 10.
Celebrities and business owners are taking part in an 18-hole round of golf at Coolangatta and Tweed Heads Golf Club to raise money for people affected by the northern NSW floods.
“The aim of the day is to raise more money for people in need supporting GIVIT to help the Northern Rivers flood relief,” Fanning said.
“We’ve love everyone to be involved.”

The tournament was created after Fanning and his friends helped rescue victims of the March floods in Northern NSW and witnessed first-hand the destruction of the area.
Fanning wanted to continue to help flood victims and their recovery efforts.
An array of sporting items and experiences are being auctioned in the lead-up to the golf tournamet, including the holiday at Fanning’s house.
Other auction items include tennis star Ash Barty’s signed racquet from the 2022 Australian Open and seven-time world champion surfer Stephanie Gilmore’s signed surfboard.

LJ Hooker Southern Gold Coast agent Mishy Canning helped to co-ordinate a hub of food and supplies for flood victims and said Fanning hadn’t stopped trying to help since day one.
“He was out there in the community and was on the water meeting everyone and was really affected by their stories,” Ms Canning said.
“When you’re on the ground seeing how people are affected it’s pretty emotionally daunting.
“He (Mick Fanning) and his wife have been working non-stop to raise money for the families.
“This is the best way he can keep helping directly.”

Fanning is no stranger to Gold Coast property, building up a neat portfolio over the years.
Last year he splashed $3m on a designer home at Tugun built around an indoor skate ramp after offloading a Coolangatta duplex six months earlier.
He has also turned his hand to development and is part of a group of big names behind a $130m, 93-apartment tower in Rainbow Bay.
