Paradiso Place to feature podium-level co-working space in a first for the country

An floor in the $800 million Paradiso Place development in Surfers Paradise will be a dedicated co-working space in what is believed to be a first for the country.
Situated in Tower 1 of the three-tower mixed-use development, residents will have access to executive-level office spaces and amenities, while remaining little more than a lift ride away from their apartments.

Developer, SPG land, hopes it will help to redefine the concept of working from home as people move towards flexible.
Paradiso Place is believed to be the first development of its kind in Australia to offer such amenities, which have been designed by the internationally renowned Studio Carter.
The work space, located on Level 26, offers 360-degree views through 4.25m floor-to-ceiling windows and includes outdoor balcony areas.
It will also have boardrooms, private meeting rooms, work pods, hot desks and a zoom room for teleconferencing, all supported by high-speed internet and complemented by a coffee emporium.

The project’s recently opened $4 million sales display office is the largest in the southern hemisphere and showcases full-sized two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments, a 2.5m scale model of the project along with an immersion theatre.
Graham Goldman of Eastview Australia, SPG Land’s project manager, said the company’s decision to dedicate a whole floor to a state-of-the-art co-working facility was in response to the growing number of people working from home.

“It is exciting to think about the entrepreneurial business community we are creating.”

Tower 1 in Paradiso Place, spanning an 11,400 sqm site between Surfers Paradise Boulevard and Ferny Avenue, will be the first to be built, offering 258 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, over 38 levels, all with ocean views.
Prices start at $525,000 for a one-bedroom unit, rising to $1.549 million for three-bedrooms apartments. The two penthouse apartments are yet to be priced.
Construction of Tower 1 is expected to be completed in late 2024.
