GOLD Coast power couple and car dealership royalty Brett and Rebecca Frizelle have put their long-time Southport home on the market.
The Frizelles, who merged their automotive empire in 2017 with Peter Warren Automotive and who co-own the Gold Coast Titans, have called 2 Wildash Street home since 2013, when they purchased the property for $4.2 million.
2 Wildash Street, Southport, spans three storeys and is made of solid concrete.

Employing the expertise of architect Bayden Goddard, the Frizelles carried out a dramatic two-year renovation of the property, which sits on a 903sq m block with 33m of water frontage.
A jetty was built at the back of the house, with a pontoon to accommodate an 80ft yacht.
The result is an open-plan, luxurious waterfront home with multiple alfresco entertaining areas, a wine cellar, games room, gym, 25m lap pool that can convert into a dance floor, a jetty and pontoon that can accommodate an 80ft yacht.
It has expansive views of the waterfront and Gold Coast skyline.
Mrs Frizelle said that they had always wanted to live in the tight-knit precinct, which is close to the renowned TSS and St Hilda’s schools.
Architect Bayden Goddard helped with the home’s redesign.
“It was always an aspiration to own in this stretch,” Mrs Frizelle said. “We first tried to buy here in 1996, but missed out, but that’s how long we had wanted to buy in the area.
“It is such a unique part of the Gold Coast and to have the east-facing aspect to look back on the skyline all the way down the water to the Lanes is incredible.
“We will forever appreciate living here. It is a blue-chip location.”
The Frizelles recently emerged as the buyer of one of the last remaining properties on absolute beachfront in Main Beach, which they acquired for $7.3 million.
The house comes with a 20m lap pool which can be covered to create a dance floor.
The shack at 3573 Main Beach Parade is where the Frizelles will eventually head as they seek to downsize from the Southport home now that almost all their children have moved out.
Mrs Frizelle, who was last year made a Member of the Order of Australia, said moving to the beachfront address would be like returning home for the couple.
The couple are downsizing not that their children have left home.
The property adjoins the Golden Sands Gold Coast resort, where Mrs Frizelle said she spent time growing up.
“We might try to rent or buy something in the building while we go through the planning and development process for the house we want to build,” she said.
The house has east-facing views of the river and Gold Coast skyline.
“I have always harboured a dream to move there (Main Beach). It will feel like I’m going home.”
The Frizelles’ Southport mansion is being marketed by Michael Kollosche of Kollosche estate agency and will be open to expressions of interest until 5pm on September 22.

A home in the same Southport precinct, at 5 McMillan Court, broke the Queensland house price record when it changed hands earlier this year for $24 million.
The highest recorded sale in Wildash Street is $6 million which was paid for No. 4 in 2005. Clive Palmer also owns a property in the well-heeled street.
