Actors Chris and Liam Hemsworth (L) are represented by entertainment agents Mark Morrissey and wife Lizzi Dayney-Morrissey
Entertainment agents Mark Morrissey and wife Lizzi Dayney-Morrissey have listed their Byron Bay hideaway, one year after leaving Sydney for the northern NSW celebrity hotspot.
The power couple, who represent Hollywood actors Chris and Liam Hemswoth and singer Delta Goodrem, are selling their acreage home at Binna Burra and relocating to another Hinterland property.
“Going from a warehouse in Sydney to this property, we love it so much we actually want more land,” said Ms Dayney-Morrissey.
“We’ve found another place and we’ve got a lot of ideas.”

The property is set among beautiful gardens
Mr Morrissey is the CEO of Morrissey Management, while Ms Dayney-Morrissey also runs the boutique agency, Missus M Creative.
Their talent includes several northern NSW-based actors, including the Hemsworth brothers as well as Elsa Pataky, Isabel Lucas, Madeleine West and Charlie Clausen.
Ms Dayney-Morrissey said they had long dreamed of a Byron Bay escape and in June 2021 purchased the property at 788 Friday Hut Rd for $2.4m.
The charming three-bedroom home on a 1ha block is set among beautifully maintained gardens with fruit trees and tropical flowers, while there’s a separate self-contained studio and workshop as well as a large garage.

Features of the main brick-and-timber home are high pitched ceilings, polished timer floors, VJ walls and French doors.
Open-plan living spaces lead onto covered wraparound verandas, while there’s a fireplace for cozy winter nights.
“The property is just so private that you can have people in the house or the studio and not be bothered,” Ms Dayney-Morrissey said.
It’s a relaxed pace of life, far removed from the city hustle and bustle — there’s even an outdoor freestanding bathtub to soak under the stars.
Soak away the stress
Morrissey Management was previously headquartered from a warehouse in the Sydney suburb of Rosebery.
Since 2021, they have worked from home, travelling often for client engagements and events.
“We still have our business in Sydney so it was a gradual move, but it’s something we’ve been wanting to do for a long, long time — we’ve got friends up there, we’ve got clients up there and my parents are on the Gold Coast,” Ms Dayney-Morrissey said.
“I think Covid did re-set our priorities and really it is so easy being there.
“We’ve got great reception now, wifi … it’s just a matter of basing our timing around events when we need to be back in Sydney,” she said.

The couple has celebrated Christmas and other special occasions at the country estate with friends and family, including their two adult daughters, actor Mia and Piper, who works with Morrissey Management as an associate producer.
“It’s really just the perfect place to have friends and family over. We’ve had lots of lovely dinners out in the gardens,” Ms Dayney-Morrissey said.
The property is marketed by Oliver Aldridge and Lee Grimes, of First National Byron.

Ms Grimes said interest in the home had been strong, with good numbers at open home inspections despite rain.
“What is really special about this property is the privacy and serenity of the location at Binna Burra, while still being so close to Bangalow and an easy drive to Gold Coast or Ballina airports,” Ms Grimes said
It goes under the hammer on June 11 with an auction guide of $2.35m.
