A-LEAGUE veteran Kristian Rees is kicking goals off the field in his latest move as a finance broker.
The former professional footballer who spent 12 years playing in the A-League with clubs including Adelaide United, Wellington Phoenix and Gold Coast United, has joined SW Brokerage, with his office based in Hollywell on the Gold Coast.

“I believe brokers can provide valuable solutions to clients to not only save money on just their home loan repayments but also provide fantastic wealth solutions for the ongoing future,” Rees said.
“It’s a very personal service and I feel lucky to be able to assist clients to achieve their goals and dreams.”
Rees, who’s also the assistant coach of his former team Gold Coast United, has worked as a broker for three years but his latest move means he will work full-time alongside SW Brokerage’s Barry Wilkinson.

“After meeting the whole SW Brokerage team, I felt they have a great spirit which I feel is important in a team environment,” Rees said.
“I’ve known Barry Wilkinson for some time and his principles, commitment, and work ethic are fantastic and I feel very aligned with them.
After retiring in 2012, Rees joined the Palmer United Party and was the lead Palmer candidate for the Senate for South Australia in the in the 2016 Australian Federal election.
He also ran in the 2015 Queensland election in the seat of Currumbin.
