Fresh to the market via Edin Kara of Ray White Sovereign Islands, the five-bedroom showstopper at 34 Hampton Court pretty much has it all. Lance and Jacqueline Dummett bought the property in 2021 after being drawn to its views, location, and style.
“We wanted something with a view and this one is unbelievable,” Mr Dummett said.
“You can see from Sovereign Islands down the waterway across to the Gold Coast Hinterland.
“Then at the front of the property, you look over a park in the middle of the street, so out the front all you see is green and out the back it’s just this vast expanse of water.”

Entertain poolside all year round.
The golf simulator.
A builder himself, Mr Dummett was also attracted to the property’s build quality and architecture, including its signature Paul Clout design touches, such as soaring ceilings, interior and exterior water features, and a seamless transition between the indoors and outside.
The house offers all-year entertaining with a focus on enjoying seamless indoor-outdoor living.
“With its indoor-outdoor ponds, glass walkways, large voids and the heated swimming pool and spa, it’s a house that feels just like a resort,” Mr Dummett said.
“At night-time it looks fantastic.”

The kitchen.
During their three years living there, the Dummetts have also completed a series of renovations, including adding a golf simulator in the basement and creating a 500-bottle wine cellar.
“The wine cellar is situated under the indoor-outdoor pond so it’s an ideal location that maintains a constant temperature,” Mr Dummett said.
“And the basement golf simulator allows you to play anywhere in the world from the comfort of your own home.”

Luxury at every turn.
There are plenty of areas to relax and unwind.
Mr Dummett said a clear advantage of the property’s location was its waterfront position and private jetty.
“But it’s in a protected 6-knot zone so you don’t get the wash,” he said.
“Then, next door, the neighbour has bought the block between the properties and landscaped it, so effectively you have just one neighbour.”

Waterfront living at its best.

Meanwhile, he said the Sovereign Islands offered the perfect Gold Coast lifestyle, yet still provided proximity to Brisbane.
“The lifestyle here is unbelievable,” Mr Dummett said.
“Paradise Point is one of the last true remaining villages on the Gold Coast and it offers fantastic parks and a great community feel.
“And Sovereign Islands is a gated and secure community but it’s not buzz-in, buzz-out, there’s an actual gatehouse.”

After three years in his Sovereign Islands home, Mr Dummett said he and his wife
