A GOLD Coast builder who didn’t want “carbon-copy homes” has created two residences with similar floorplans but polar opposite finishes.
PJH Constructions is behind the two high-end builds in popular Burleigh Heads locale Koala Park.
Paul and Nicki Harms, who own PJH Constructions, subdivided the block last year to create 4 and 4A Guyra Drive.

Both properties are in Koala Park and are walking distance to Tallebudgera Creek, Burleigh Heads National Park and Burleigh’s James St precinct.
They said they deliberately chose different facades and interiors to set them apart from each other.
“The homes look very different from the front so that the buyer is not getting a carbon-copy of their next door neighbour,” Mrs Harms said.
“While the floor plans are very similar the interiors are quite different.
“(The home at) 4 Guyra Ave is modern and sleek with timber, grey, white and hints of industrial black throughout, while 4A Guyra Ave features timber, natural stone and warm hues.”

Their new builds, completed last month, each feature four bedrooms, two bathrooms, study areas and plunge pools.
“These homes are large enough for a family to enjoy, a couple who loves entertaining, those who want luxury close to the beach or a beach house that is low maintenance,” she said.
The residences are also equipped with Experience One technology, so that everything from the lighting, heating, cooling, security cameras, intercom and sound can be controlled from your mobile.

The properties are going to auction through Ed Cherry of Harcourts Coastal on May 28 at 11.30am.
PJH Constructions are no strangers to Koala Park – they have built 11 homes in the pocket including a three-level house at 14 Tawarri Cres and another residence at 9 Guyra Drive.
