Ultimate family entertainer in Robina has waterfront basketball court, mini golf course and more

5 Pipers Point, Robina
HAVE a Kobe Bryant fan in the house? This family entertainer has a brand new waterfront basketball court along with a host of other crowd-pleasing features including a deluxe cinema, mini golf course, games room, and pool with swim-up bar.
The standout property on a 2235sq m lot at 5 Pipers Point, Robina is marketed by Tina Nenadic, of Gold Coast Property, and goes under the hammer on March 26.
Owner Surjit Singh purchased the six-bedroom, four-bathroom home last year and undertook refurbishments to the interior, including new paint and flooring throughout and updating the bathroom.

Mr Singh then tuned into his sports-mad kids, aged 10, 12, and 14, for inspiration on creating al fresco features that would elevate the unique estate to a true family haven.
“I have three kids all of whom play basketball — listening to their commentary with their friends, it’s always about basketball so I guess I wanted to follow that trend,” Mr Singh said.
“I think a lot of the kids have idolised Kobe Bryant and LeBron James, and it’s no longer just teens wanting to wear the gear, they want to play.”
Mr Singh, who runs a construction management and interior design company and has completed about 15 personal projects over the last 20 years, said he aimed to create a property providing, “access to everything you could possibly need”.
Completed by Brisbane company the Sports Court Builders just before Christmas, the striking court is finished in purple and gold — the team colours of the Los Angeles Lakers, where Kobe Bryant played his 20-year career in the NBA.
Bryant died in a helicopter crash in California in 2020 aged 41.

Basketball is ranked as the most popular team sport in Australia for children aged 6-13, Australian Sports Commission data shows.
It is the nation’s second most popular team sport overall behind soccer, with the number of registered players up 20 per cent between 2016 and 2020.
The home offers multiple living and entertaining zones over two levels, with a plush cinema room and spacious games zone complete with bar opening onto a patio, as well as a ground-floor guest wing with a bedroom, bathroom, office, kitchen and spacious lounge.
Upstairs, the master bedroom serves as a parents’ retreat with a kitchenette, ensuite, dressing room and private balcony, plus an office and separate lounge on the same level.

Then, there’s the expansive outdoor offering, with the saltwater pool, mini putting greens, and night-lit court that doubles as extra space for a range of sporting pursuits, all set amid tropical gardens.
Ms Nenadic said the property offered an affordable entry to an enviable waterfront lifestyle, located close to popular private schools, Bond University and shopping centres, and within easy reach of the beach.
“It is an outstanding home in the Robina area that is to the calibre of luxury homes of Mermaid Waters, Burleigh Waters or Broadbeach Waters, but without the price tag,” Ms Nenadic said.
