Developer selling three ‘super lots’ in Burleigh Heads

With the Gold Coast in the grip of a land shortage, a developer has decided to buck trends releasing three “super lots” in a popular beachside suburb.

Villawood Properties has put three ready-to-build on blocks ranging in size from 1002 sqm to 1703 sqm on the market as part of an exclusive release at Burleigh Heads community The Arbour.

Research from Oliver Hume reveals the scarcity of available parcels of land of this size, with the blocks released at The Arbour equating to nearly a quarter of the total supply of large lots across the southern Gold Coast.

Just 13 residential lots over 1000sq m are for sale on the southern end of the city.

The research also shows the median land size for available lots across the Gold Coast is just 502.5sq m.

Michael Williams, Villawood Properties QLD general manager, said the release was a rare opportunity for buyers to secure large lots in one of the country’s most sought after suburbs.

“Buyers have the opportunity to secure one of the largest lots in Burleigh Heads within a private and secluded enclave surrounded by a protected conservation area, nestled within a masterplanned community,” Mr Williams said.

“These three super lots not only give buyers the opportunity to build the big, architecturally designed home of their dreams, they promise the privilege of privacy and the serenity.”

Mr Williams said The Arbour’s location in one of the nation’s most loved beachside suburbs was a big drawcard for buyers.

“While vacant, registered, flat land of this calibre is unheard of in Burleigh Heads, the scale of this opportunity is further compounded by the accessible and convenient location of The Arbour, set close to the heart of the Gold Coast and beautiful Burleigh Heads,” Mr Williams said.

Construction of The Arbour community and all amenities will be complete by Christmas.

First residents are expected to move into the community by early 2024.
