Aussie vloggers The Norris Nuts take Gold Coast dream property to auction

The Norris Nuts dream home plans are up for grabs in Broadbeach Waters
EX-OLYMPIAN Justin Norris has listed a Gold Coast riverfront block complete with architectural plans for his internet-famous family’s dream home featuring a huge indoor slide and epic entertaining zone.
The former swimmer and father-of-six has turned a fortune from his family’s social media brand, The Norris Nuts, with a combined reach across YouTube and Instagram platforms of more than 12 million people, according to their website.
Norris and his wife, Brooke, both 42, had shared the family’s intended move from Newcastle, NSW, to the Gold Coast through daily vlogs, and purchased two waterfront properties in the Glitter Strip city during the pandemic totalling $11.55m.

They are taking one 2,166sq m parcel to auction after changing tack and buying a $15m luxury six-bedroom pad in Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
The rare vacant block across two blocks on one of the Gold Coast’s most exclusive riverfront stretches is marketed by Kollosche agents, Michael Kollosche and Jay Helprin, and goes under the hammer this week.
The Norris Nuts are estimated to be worth about $28 million, earning daily revenue of $10,000 from ads appearing on their YouTube and other social channels.
Each member of the family also has an individual account, including Sabre, 17, Biggy, 13, Sockie, 15, Naz, 12, Disco, 4, and Charm, 2.
They engaged top local architect Jared Poole to design a mansion befitting their zany online antics.

Screened courtyard spaces provide privacy
The proposed two-level residence at Broadbeach Waters, described as ”a contemporary main river masterpiece” by the listing agents, spans 1,312sq m of floor space, with seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms plus powder room, five-car basement garage, and a separate self-contained guest house.
Its more quirky features include a bright red winding interal slide, floating wine cellar display, and massive pool with sunken sun loungers and marked swim lanes.
Screened courtyard spaces afford privacy, while living areas overlook the al fresco zone via expanses of glass and exterior walls feature stone cladding.
Mr Helprin said the land had just under 29m of river frontage, and was one of few remaining parcels on Monaco St that had never been built on.

“The sellers were going to build their dream family home there and have since decided to move to Sydney then purchased a house down there,” Mr Helprin said.
“They designed a bespoke custom home to suit the way they wanted to live, and their family’s needs.
“The proposed plans for a luxurious two-level entertainer come with the block, so the owner can build that, subject to council approval, or they can redesign and start fresh.
“It’s an ideal blank canvas for someone to build their dream family home, and we’re finding construction prices and time frames are starting to normalise,” he said.
