NRL Titans prop Jaimin Jolliffe lists Gold Coast home for sale

NRL player Jaimin Jolliffe and his fiancee Tia Davie have listed their Gold Coast property for sale one month after welcoming baby girl Charlotte into the world.

The Gold Coast Titans prop and his partner had purchased the three bedroom duplex in 2021 not long after the former rookie of the year started playing first grade.

The Varsity Lakes home has been marketed via an expressions of interest campaign with Ben Williams, of Remax.

Mr Williams said offers above $999,000 were encouraged.

“It’s in a lovely pocket of Varsity Lakes in a cul-de-sac near Frascott Park,” he said.

Jolliffe said he and Davie had modernised the property after moving in and were now looking to upsize within the local area.

“We updated the boundary fence and replaced it with Colorbond. We redid the roof, put in an electric garage, painted the house throughout and we regrouted both the showers and installed stainless steel shower screens,” he said.

The pair had considered renting it out but decided to sell in response to strong demand for similar properties in the suburb.

The home has a modern outdoor entertainment area.

“Thornleigh for us was always going to be an investment, it was never a forever home,” Jolliffe said. “We’re confident we can get a real good price. As the family has grown a bit, we’ll look to upsize to a bigger, nicer home.”

“We’re looking around Varsity, Robina, Burleigh Waters … We’re looking to stay in the area – we love it down here.”

Mr Williams said the campaign has received strong interest so far.

“We’ve had a lot of inquiry already and that’s been from a mix of interstate and local buyers. There has been interest from first-home buyers as well as downsizers happy to move from a larger family home to a duplex,” Mr Williams said.

As the couple’s first home on the Gold Coast, the duplex has already seen many happy moments – including the moment Jolliffe found out Davie was pregnant.

“I was away for a football game and I came back and she showed me about four positive pregnancy tests,” he said. “Bringing the bub home from the hospital the first time – that was cool as well.”

He said the property’s proximity to Burleigh Beach was one of his favourite features, as was the suburb’s community feel.

The home is bright and modern.

“It’s a really peaceful, friendly neighbourhood,” he said.

Jolliffe was re-signed to the Titans in June on a deal which will see him tied to the club until at least the end of the 2026 season.

The former rookie of the year has cemented his place in the Coast’s top 17 since joining three years ago on a train-and-trial deal.

He has been touted as a key member of the side, despite a season marred by injury, and returned to training two weeks after his daughter’s birth.

Records show the property last traded in 2021 for $720,000.
