IT’S the hottest house on the Gold Coast this week with its retro flair pulling in big numbers virtually and in person.
Allambi House at 54 Allambi Ave, Broadbeach Waters ranked as the most-viewed listing on the Gold Coast on realestate.com.au this week.
It is the third most-viewed in Queensland and 13th across the country.

Vendors Perri and Eddie Beith are behind the new build which pushes design boundaries with its mid-century modern vibe.
The pair said they were overwhelmed with the interest they received since launching the property last week.
“The best result was in our open homes over the weekend — we had close to 100 groups through and each group had two to three people,” Mrs Beith said.
“It was pretty cool to have that many people through the house.”

Mr Beith, a builder with his own construction business, and Mrs Beith, who runs a renovating and design consultancy, combined their skills to ensure their 18th home renovation was far from ordinary.
The design, with its flamboyant finishes and retro charm, takes you on a journey through the ages to a time when architecture was celebrated as art.
One of the couple’s favourite features is the sunken lounge with banquet-style seating, plush shag pile carpet and stacked stone feature wall.

Other standouts include the kitchen with integrated appliances and the pool that sits alongside the house.
“We have had so many good responses and so many people reaching out to us online saying they were in awe and loved the design and styling choices,” Mrs Beith said.
“It is a very bold design but people loved how it has been presented.”

Mrs Beith said she enjoyed the challenge of a mid-century modern house and was happy to shake up the Gold Coast property market.
“The Gold Coast is well-known for its beautiful luxurious properties and there is a real lean to that beachy-coastal style which is amazing,” she said.
“But it’s nice to introduce different styles.

“Realistically there are so many different people who want to live here and not everyone wants a coastal home.
“There are so many other people doing different designs as well with so many cool properties coming out.”
Allambi House is going to auction on May 28 through Ray White Burleigh Group’s Conner Malan and Daniel Donovan, and Belle Maison Realty’s Trevor Groves.
According to the latest Proptrack Home Price Index, national home prices continued to stabilise in April after rising for the fourth consecutive month, rising 0.14 per cent.
The cumulative increase in 2023 is now 0.75 per cent.
Strong migration, tight rental markets and limited supply are offsetting the impact of rapid interest rate rises.
