It is owned by well-known Gold Coast specialist neurologist Professor John Corbett and his wife Lorraine, who have carefully curated and evolved the property over the past 22 years.
They have divided it into five freehold lots to maximise its potential for prospective new owners.
Arrive by road or chopper to take in a bird’s-eye view of the expansive estate at 11-17 Lyrebird Rd before landing on the front lawn of the main family homestead, which has a dedicated helipad.

The main residence.
The 15m heated magnesium pool.
A two-storey, architect-designed residence anchors Lot 1 of Eaglemont’s five parcels and features vaulted ceilings, parquetry flooring, Venetian chandeliers, an open French fireplace, timber library, study, three bathrooms, powder room, plus a triple-car garage.
It also has a 15m heated magnesium pool, Italian pizza oven, Florida Room with panoramic views, and a built-in barbecue.
A further three dwellings, including a second large house with a downstairs bunkhouse, plus
a farm workers’ cottage are spread across the estate.

There is even a tennis court.
Evolving Eaglemont Estate has been a passion project for Prof Corbett, who pioneered sleep medicine in Australia, establishing Snore Australia on the Gold Coast and overseeing its expansion to more than thirty centres.
He treated more than 200,000 patients at his Southport clinic before retiring in 2021, aged 81.
“Eaglemont has so many wonderful qualities. It is a wonderful place to get lost in,” Prof Corbett said.
“For me, wandering through the remnant rainforest was always incredibly special. I think the work we have done over the years truly sets it apart as a haven, an oasis of peace, yet it is still only 45 minutes from the coast.”
While the property has been the Corbetts’ home for more than two decades, it is the commercial potential of the unique land holding that will pique the interest of astute buyers and investors.

The pocket is surrounded by rainforest.
Eaglemont can support a raft of income-earning opportunities across its five lots, with a health sanctuary, winery, essential oil production, commercial nursery, timber farming, carbon trading farm, aquaculture, or nature-based tourism venture all within scope, subject to council
approval.
The property is open to expressions of interest through Kollosche marketing agents Kara Christensen and Michael Kollosche.

The main residence.
Ms Christensen said a listing such as Eaglemont was unlikely to be repeated and offered a unique buying opportunity for investors or locals families.
“Being able to purchase this parcel as a whole means you will essentially own 13 per cent of Springbrook’s cleared land, bordering on National Park,” Ms Christensen said.
“That is something really special and a very rare opportunity.”
With each of the lots having private access, Ms Christensen said a buyer could own it and enjoy the space in its entirety, land bank some or all of it, lease it, or capitalise on income- earning potential.
“It is a property that offers endless and diverse opportunities and as such we have been fielding inquiries from a diverse buyer base, including from overseas,” Ms Christensen said.
Expressions of interest close April 6.
