Agent John Santos, of Gold Coast Property Sales & Rentals, is marketing the property with an auction set for December 13.
“I’m quite excited to see what the market feedback is going to be,” he said.
“There’s quite a bit of excitement in the community pages because obviously it is the first home to be for sale in SkyRidge.”
SkyRidge is a masterplanned community in Worongary where demand was so intense a ballot was held for the chance to buy land when the development first launched.

Sellers Maxine and Spencer Richards bought the 448sq m block of land in October, 2022 before embarking on their dream house.
“We basically have decided to expand our family and we want acreage so that’s why we are selling,” said Mrs Richards, who works as a finance broker.
“We loved the marketing and dream, and the concept behind SkyRidge — the fact that it’s a lot of families and young professionals who are building a community together.
“We’re really excited and we hope that our house makes a nice dream house for someone else’s family.”

Mr Santos said the first week of the marketing campaign was crucial to the sale.
“The first week is where we are going to get that market feedback,” Mr Santos said.
“My sellers are open to selling prior to auction so a buyer could definitely be in before Christmas.”

The latest listing follows the $2.8m sale of a Metricon display home in SkyRidge.
Construction of SkyRidge started in 2020, with developers Perron Group staging a lottery after more than 15,000 people registered to secure one of 3,500 homes to be built over ten years.
The masterplanned community will become home to more than 10,000 people once completed in 2036.
The first residents moved into the estate in August.
PropTrack data shows the median house price in Worongary is $1.26m up 5.9 per cent over 12 months.
