Prize home charity lists vacant land

21 Maybree Cl, Tallebudgera Valley
A prize home charity has listed four acres of vacant land fronting picturesque Tallebudgera Creek after abandoning plans to build a luxury property at the site.
The 1.629ha parcel at 21 Maybree Cl, Tallebudgera Valley is marketed by Claudia Young and Kye Ward, of Black and Young, with expressions of interest closing February 16.
Property records show Yourtown paid $2.1m for the lush rural acreage homesite in March 2022.
Ms Young said the campaign had attracted strong inquiry from families looking to build a new home in the popular treechange location on the southern Gold Coast.

“This is a very rare opportunity to acquire land with creek frontage and a substantial approved building envelope to create your very own country abode, and it’s so close to the beach.”
The property is located about eight minutes away from Burleigh Heads, according to the listing.
The Yourtown not-for-profit organisation is no stranger to Tallebudgera Valley, with a luxury home on Gibsonville St in the same suburb promoted for first prize of a Christmas draw valued at more than $6m.

And a number of former prize home winners have cashed out on their big wins, on-selling their properties for multimillion-dollar sums.
A spectacular modern barn-style home on Tallebudgera Creek Rd won in 2021 was sold for $3.83m one year later, in November 2022.
And another winner of a sprawling Hamptons-style pad on Gibsonville St had his second lucky day when it sold under the hammer for $2.25m.
PropTrack data shows the median house price in Tallebudgera Valley is $2.187m, up 38.7 per cent over the last 12 months.
