42 Petch Creed Rd, Tallebudgera Valley is going to auction on February 17.
EVER wanted a pony?
Gold Coast vendor Vivienne Sales has put her sprawling Tallebudgera Valley property on the market and is reluctantly leaving behind her beloved Shetland ponies Princess and Gracie if the right new owners come along.
“It is pony paradise here and we would love to find buyers who would like to take Princess and Gracie on so they could maintain the wonderful life they have here,” she said.
“I absolutely love it here, but my husband is getting older, and we need to downsize – it will break my heart to go.”

Nestled in the Hinterland, ‘Mandevilla’ at 42 Petsch Creek Road offers a serene lifestyle.
The lush green acreage has been an oasis for more than just current owner Vivienne Sales and her family.
During last year’s floods, the high and dry property became a temporary home for several displaced horses from areas of the Gold Coast that were not so lucky.
“We had five horses sheltering in our front paddock,” Ms Sales said.
“It was wonderful to be able to keep them here where it was safe.”
There’s plenty of space to entertain.
The kitchen.
According to Ms Sales, recent years at the five-bedroom, three-bathroom property set across 7.8 acres have underlined what a “retreat from the world” it truly is.
“During Covid lockdowns, this was just absolute paradise for us to closet away in,” Ms Sales said.
“We are actually very close to Burleigh Beach and the Gold Coast glitz, but you would never know it when you are here – you feel a million miles away from it all.
“The peacefulness of living here is actually quite unreal.”

The sprawling Hinterland property.
As a former seamstress, Ms Sales has incorporated details of her craft into the designer home, which features unique basins fashioned from sewing machine legs.
“We have put so much into renovating this property, and we hope the new owners enjoy every detail,” she said.
And details abound, with the double-storey abode featuring a secluded master retreat, separate guesthouse, deluxe bathrooms, and a peaceful retreat outlook with magnesium swimming pool, covered alfresco and sunken fire pit.
Securely fenced and perfect for horses, the property features a dam, paddocks and a powered stable.
Kollosche Broadbeach agents Rob Lamb and Cassandra Brizzi are taking Mandevilla to auction on February 17.
