Make a splash in the pool.
Or relax inside.
With vistas across the water to the Gold Coast city skyline, the immaculately designed, near-new home has it all, offering a property with entertaining, outdoor living, and wellbeing built into its design.
Located within walking distance of the beach, the house comes complete with its own boat pontoon, infinity-edge pool, separate hot and cold plunge pools, and a designated gym area.
Owner Simone Gergely bought the property in 2019 after being drawn to its waterfront location and the growing appeal of Mermaid Waters. At the time, the site was home to an older-style brick house, which the couple demolished to build a dream residence that embraced the quintessential Gold Coast lifestyle.

Set on a corner block that faces northeast, the home is designed to maximise its sweeping views across the canals to Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise beyond.
“We wanted to create a balance of great design, functionality and usability,” Ms Gergely said. “It has a beautiful, warm Gold Coast vibe, is within walking distance to the beach, and every aspect takes in that view of the water.”
Inside, a vast entry way opens up to the living, dining and kitchen area, which comes complete with butler’s pantry.
Or sit waterside on your outside deck.
There are water views from almost every room.
The lower floor also accommodates an in-home cinema as well as a guest retreat with its own kitchenette, private entry and lounge area, offering the potential for dual living.
Upstairs is the master suite along with three additional bedrooms, a dedicated office, and a further living area.

Meanwhile, the indoors connects seamlessly with the exterior, where a dedicated games room and outdoor entertaining areas overlook the infinity-edged swimming pool, boat pontoon, and water.
“When you walk in that front door, you feel like you’re on holidays,” Ms Gergely said. “There’s so much space, it feels like a resort and there’s so much to do.
“You can set a fire in the firepit, fish off the side, or take your boat or jet ski to Isle of Capri, which is just magic.”

For Ms Gergely and her family, the home has been a place to retreat to and entertain friends. “It’s purpose-built for entertaining,” she said. “At Christmas, we had over 30 people here, swimming in the pool and relaxing in the entertaining area.”
There is plenty of space to entertain.
Hot and cold plunge pools.,
The property also has a focus on personal wellbeing, with hot and cold plunge pools adjacent to the games room, and a dedicated gym area in the garage.
“To hop in the hot and cold plunge pools as the sun is rising is just an amazing way to start the day,” Ms Gergely said.
“We tried to think of everything, so there’s a multitude of outdoor showers, laundry chutes from the upstairs bedrooms, and we even included a dog bath.”

The house was meticulously designed.
Construction of the home was completed in 2020, and Ms Gergely said its location was ideal.
With Ms Gergely’s eldest child now preparing to start uni, she said the time had come for the family to turn the page on a new chapter. “We definitely have mixed emotions as it’s such a beautiful home and it really has it all,” she said.
Taylor Kleinberg and Jamie Harrison of Kollosche – Broadbeach are taking the property to auction on November 17.
