70 Gibraltar Drive, Isle of Capri sold for $5.99m.
A showstopper Surfers Paradise property sold for $5.99m, one of the biggest deals on the Gold Coast this week.
Matt Lanyon at Coastal Property Agents handled the sale of the Isle of Capri house, that was on the market with another agency since May.

“James Courtney of McGrath Estate Agents Paradise Point had a potential buyer come in from Jakarta,” Mr Lanyon said.
“This property was her exact style and the first one we showed her.
“When she got to the front gate she looked at us and said she ‘I love it’.”
“We knew then that we had pinpointed the right one for her.”

The kitchen and dining room.
The five-bedroom, five-bathroom luxury home is on a 612sq m waterfront block with 16m frontage and a 10m pontoon.
Property records show sellers Scott and Charlotte Stewart paid $1.465m for the property in 2021, before building the “no-expense-spared contemporary masterpiece”.
The home features lofty square set ceilings and sleek contoured joinery accentuated by the warmth of arches, natural stone feature walls, luxurious travertine tiling, and rich timber floors.

Other features include a cinema room, bar, showroom-style garage and XONE automation system.
The master ensuite features full-height tiling, a heated towel rail, a freestanding stone bath, a dual shower, and a stylish arched vanity with Calacatta gold trim, while three upper-level bedrooms offer skyline views, walk-in robes, and ensuites.
The rooftop terrace.
The outdoor haven features an alfresco kitchen and pool, while a private patio off the master suite leads to a rooftop terrace with panoramic views.
Mr Lanyon said buyers were still keen on turnkey properties within the prestige market.
“The A+ stock is still gaining momentum and the quality stock is getting a lot of views but the properties that aren’t turnkey or renovators are probably a bit harder to move,” Mr Lanyon said.
