Dylan and Jenny, of The Block, are selling their newly built Gold Coast home.
The Block couple Dylan and Jenny have cancelled the weekend auction of their newly built Gold Coast home amid lingering disappointment over their experience on the hit TV show.
The luxury five-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Palm Beach was Queensland’s most viewed property going to auction this week on realestate.com.au, but the event was suddenly called off less than 48 hours out.
Named Palm House, the coastal Hamptons-style abode is still advertised for sale, but now with a sticker price of $2.35m-plus.
Newlyweds Dylan Adams, 29, and Jenny Heath-Adams, 26, had scheduled their honeymoon to coincide with the auction date and would remain in Bali over the weekend.

Marketing agent Ed Cherry, of Harcourts Coastal, said the couple were still reeling from their stint on Channel Nine’s The Block: Tree Change in 2022, when the house they built in Gisborne South, in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, failed to sell under the hammer.
Theirs had been the last of the series’ 5 houses remaining when it finally sold in February for an undisclosed sum.
Mr Cherry said pricing the Gold Coast property widened the buyer pool, with the highest offer received so far from a prospective owner who was unable to bid at auction, where terms of sale were generally unconditional.

“It also came down to what had happened previously on The Block,” Mr Cherry said.
“It was hard to convince them to do an auction in the first place because of that.
“I think they have a bit of PTSD from it, and the fact that they are away makes it more difficult as well,” he said.
Mrs Heath-Adams said they had been overwhelmed by support through the campaign to date, with many people posting messages of well wishes for the auction to the couple’s social media accounts, where they have more than 50,000 followers.
It is understood the couple’s manager, Georgia Saggers, pushed for the 11th-hour campaign switch.

“We have been overwhelmed with the inquiry, support and offers,” Mrs Heath-Adams said.
“Under the guidance of our manager and agent, we decided it was best to allow the conditional offers to complete so our agent has made the call to display a list price.”
Features of the new build include 6m-high cathedral ceilings, engineered timber floors, VJ panelling, a spacious open living and dining area, and a Hamptons-inspired kitchen with a stone island bench.
High-end finishes throughout
Sunlight fills the home via a total of 9 skylights and clerestory windows, while wide glass sliding doors open onto generous al fresco decking and a breakfast bar.
There’s also a magnesium pool, firepit, outdoor shower and low-maintenance lawns, and the property is fitted with an energy-saving Red Earth battery system.
The tradie couple, who work together under their own brand, Dylan and Jenny Projects, had commenced the Palm Beach build before joining The Block.
Property records show they secured the 513sq m lot for $840,000 in November 2020.
