Dilapidated home for sale comes with a mega shed worth up to $1 million

A home for sale may be completely uninhabitable but it comes with a surprise inclusion

Located at 1048 Currumbin Creek Road in Currumbin Valley, Queensland, behind a dilapidated Queenslander with rotting wood and a rusty roof lies a colossal shed.

Agent Glenna Watkins of Belle Property Palm Beach tells Nine that although the vendor spent $800,000 on a powered shed for large machinery and equipment, it could perhaps be worth up to $1 million with the price of steel.

The huge steel structure also comes with a loft-style bedroom and provisions for a kitchen and bathroom, allowing the buyer the opportunity to live in the shed while they build their dream home.

Interiors of the shed are modern with floorboards in the bedroom and angular windows, while the workspace contains concrete floors and high ceilings to host machinery.

No inside shots of the Queenslander are shown on the listing. However the exterior reveals its dilapidated state with a rusty corrugated iron roof, holes in the decking and chipped weatherboard.

Pricefinder reveals the vendor purchased the home for $1,030,000 in December 2017.
