Hamptons retreat with wow factor in Bonogin, Gold Coast

54 Beau Pde, Bonogin is on the market at offers over $2.75 million.
If you’re after wow factor, this is the property for you.
This Hamptons-inspired abode in Bonogin caught the eye of vendors Scott and Mandy Seccombe in early 2020.
The pair, along with their three children, had just moved to the Gold Coast and were staying in holiday accommodation while they searched for a place to call home.
They had inspected the house next door but knew 54 Beau Pde was something special.
Wow factor at every turn!
The deck complete with fireplace and TV overlooks the pool.
An opportunity soon came up for the family and they found themselves the new owners of the sprawling five-bedroom residence.
“This house was on a much greater scale than our previous houses,” Mr Seccombe said.
“To have a house of this size on a single level with the views, and to have so much natural light and space – it’s just amazing to live in this space.
“There’s a real sense of pride to have people over.”
Make a splash in the pool.

The house is on a 4801sq m block within the securely gated Mudgeeraba Forest The Ridge estate. Built in 2017, the floorplan is modern with three multipurpose rooms, and a spacious upper-level loft that lends itself to a home business, creative studio, or quiet retreat.
A grey and white Hamptons facade sets the tone where white walls dressed in VJ panels with wainscoting are complemented by New England blackbutt hybrid flooring and timber shutters.
It’s like resort-style living all year round.
Inside there is classic Hamptons styling.
A vaulted ceiling that rises 6.7m at its peak opens up the centre of the house where exposed beams draw the eye from the main living and dining through french doors to the rear deck.
“As soon as you open the front door, visitors say holy, look at the view,” Mr Seccombe said.
“You’ve got the raked ceilings that stand out and the pool with unframed glass fencing.
“You actually have the most amazing view sitting at the kitchen looking out to the pool and the bushland.”
There are so many places to unwind.
Entertain in style.
The pool sits alongside the entertaining deck that’s complete with pitched rafters, built-in wood fireplace and TV.
Mr Seccombe said his family loved the proximity to private schools and how quiet and private the property was at the end of the road.
From the front.
Cook up a storm here.
He said the house also provided the perfect space to work from home.
“When you’re here you can’t see any other houses,” Mr Seccombe said.
“It’s like you’re in complete isolation.
“We can drive 10 to 20 minutes to the beach and then come home and just lay around the pool and it’s honestly like being in a bush resort.
“The place is just so good.”

Other features include a butler’s pantry, upper-level loft, large flat rear lawn, double garage with lockable under-stair storage and neighbouring bush reserves.
Mr Seccombe said his family were sad to sell but were spending a lot of time commuting to Brisbane for their children’s extra curricular activities.
Kollosche Broadbeach agents Brad Coyne and Jonathon Patton are marketing the property at offers over $2.75 million.
The house is surrounded by bushland.
