Coastal agent Edin Kara handled the sale of 34 Hampton Court, a five-bedroom, six-bathroom house positioned at the end of a cul-de-sac.

“The buyers loved the property and its position on the Sovereign Islands.
“It really is a spectacular house.”

Records reveal the property first hit the market in March before going to auction with another agency.

There are several different living zones.
Sellers Lance and Jacqueline Dummett paid $5.075m for the Paul Clout-designed property in 2021 after being drawn to its views, location, and style.
A builder himself, Mr Dummett was also attracted to the property’s build quality and architecture, including its signature Paul Clout design touches, such as soaring ceilings, interior and exterior water features, and a seamless transition between the indoors and outside.
The house included interior and exterior water features.
During their three years living there, the Dummetts completed a series of renovations, including adding a golf simulator in the basement and creating a 500-bottle wine cellar.
“The wine cellar is situated under the indoor-outdoor pond so it’s an ideal location that maintains a constant temperature,” Mr Dummett told the Gold Coast Bulletin when the house first hit the market.
“And the basement golf simulator allows you to play anywhere in the world from the comfort of your own home.”
The basement has room for up to six cars.
Mr Kara said the Sovereign Islands provided a sought-after lifestyle that was still relatively unknown.
“Sovereign Islands is picking up but I still believe a lot of people don’t know about it,” Mr Kara said.
“Paradise Point is the only place on the Coast where you still have that village lifestyle.
“It is a great spot to live.”
PropTrack data shows house prices in Paradise Point, encompassing the exclusive Sovereign Islands estate, were up 22.9 per cent over the past year to a median of $2.04m.
