Steven Tol is selling his Upper Coomera home with car and contents included
A man who posted his entire life for sale with dreams of seeing the world has launched a fresh marketing pitch with a reduced asking price.
Gold Coast truckie Steven Tol originally advertised his house, cars, business and belongings on social media as part of a bizarre package deal for $2.2m six months ago.
But with no luck so far finding a buyer to take over his life, Mr Tol has changed tack, instead taking a more traditional route by listing his Upper Coomera property and its contents on realestate.com.au.
The house and caravan were originally advertised as a part of an unusual package deal
Priced at $1.5m, the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house at 1 Conestoga Way comes fully furnished, with the buyer also taking possession of Mr Tol’s classic Holden HJ panel van, electric scooters, and a “shed full of toys”.
“They literally just step into my shoes and the name changes,” Mr Tol told Channel 9 in July.
“I just thought if you buy it as a package as in ‘buy my life’ it makes life very easy for someone just to walk straight in and very easy for me to walk out.”
Mr Tol, 61, said he wanted to be free of loose ends to pursue international travel plans.
The property is marketed by Paul Vamvakaris of Flagstone Property Group.

The listing no longer includes Mr Tol’s trucking business, but buyers are invited to contact the agent for “a full inventory” of items which come with the house.
“Everything you see in the 3D tour is included,” Mr Vamvakaris’ listing states.
While the “furniture list is too large to include”, highlights were a $10,000 leather lounge, 75 inch TV, double-door fridge, dining table and chairs, ride-on mower, gym equipment, kitchen appliances, and pool table and accessories.

“Sale includes a HJ panel van with a custom brand-new 350 chev engine, 9 inch modular diff, Turbo 350 auto, vehicle rotisserie”, and $40-50,000 worth of new parts, the listing says.
The double-storey house on an 890 sqm lot has high ceilings and a new shed with roller doors and epoxy floors, as well as an outdoor entertaining area with a barbecue and bar fitted with several beer taps.
There’s also a home office, security system and four-car garage with battery charging stations.
PropTrack data shows house prices in Upper Coomera were up 3.2 per cent over the past 12 months to a median of $800,000.
