Gold Coast beach house racks up the clicks

504 The Esplanade, Palm Beach is going to auction on Sunday.
A DESIGNER beach house on the Gold Coast is the most searched property going to auction in Queensland this week.
PropTrack data revealed the five-bedder on the beachfront at popular Palm Beach racked up the most clicks of any auction property on realestate.com.au this week.
It was the seventh most viewed auction listing across the country.
The property at 504 The Esplanade goes under the hammer on Sunday at 11am through Kollsoche agent Troy Dowker.
Make a splash in the pool.
Uninterrupted ocean views.
Inside the designer digs.
Perched on a rare 824 sqm double block with views along the coastline to Snapper Rocks, the expansive home is the epitome of beachfront bliss.
And its unique layout allowed vendor Rod Morrison to win the title of coolest dad in the world without having to sacrifice his own shut eye.
“We had three teenage boys and our house became the central place to hang out and we couldn’t have been happier about it,” Mr Morrison said.
Style at every turn.
There is still plenty of grass for the kids.

“The boys took over the ground level and the pool and that spilled into the yard and then onto the beach.
“We’re big on family so we were happy to give them the space because we knew where they were, and they thought they had the run of it somewhat.”
“When they had friends over, we were able to retreat to the third level and we could barely hear them,” Mr Morrison said.
The kitchen offers an ocean view.
Is there a better view?
He said his dream was always to have a place where they could host large groups of people.
“If anyone wanted to have 20 people over, they could, but thanks to the layout, there was the added benefit of not having to have them traipsing sand upstairs,” he said.
“We enjoyed the fact that we got to be a part of their life and watch them enjoy themselves with their friends.”
Three levels of luxury.
One of the bedrooms.
Designed by renowned architect, Bayden Goddard, the spacious home is packed with showstopping features, including a sleek black kitchen with butler’s pantry, wet bar with teppanyaki grill, expansive master suite with vaulted ceiling and private balcony and ensuites in all bedrooms.
The highlights list is long, but uninterrupted views, dual living versatility, three-person steam room and covered beachfront entertaining deck are near the top of it.
