87 Monaco St, Broadbeach Waters, otherwise known as the The Bachelor house, is going to auction.
A luxurious Gold Coast estate known as The Bachelor mansion thanks to its starring role on this year’s reality show has hit the market.
The Broadbeach Waters property was at the epicentre of the action when filming moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast last year to mark a decade of the show being on air.
The Bachelors aired on Channel 10 in January but with a twist in the name and format with not one but three bachelors and a bevy of bachelorettes.
The Broadbeach Waters mansion sits on a huge 2390sq m block.

Located on the Coast’s well-known Monaco St, the double-storey Beverly Hills-style home used as the backdrop in the reality TV show sold in October, 2021 for $14.5m — it is the highest sale on record in Broadbeach Waters.

“The brief for the producers of The Bachelors was a quintessential Gold Coast property,” Mr Mian said.
“They wanted an entertaining area that was usable and private, a north facing view, the house to be new and at a calibre where it could be showed off on TV.
“This property ticked all those boxes and more.”

The house was meticulously designed.
Mr Mian said the vendors, who are Melbourne-based, had only used the property as a holiday home.
“The property has hardly been used and it’s really looking for an owner to come in and enjoy it,” he said.
