Gold Coast Bachelor mansion hits the market

87 Monaco St, Broadbeach Waters, otherwise known as the The Bachelor house, is going to auction.
A luxurious Gold Coast estate known as The Bachelor mansion thanks to its starring role on this year’s reality show has hit the market.
The Broadbeach Waters property was at the epicentre of the action when filming moved from Sydney to the Gold Coast last year to mark a decade of the show being on air.
The Bachelors aired on Channel 10 in January but with a twist in the name and format with not one but three bachelors and a bevy of bachelorettes.
The Broadbeach Waters mansion sits on a huge 2390sq m block.
There is plenty of space to relax.
Located on the Coast’s well-known Monaco St, the double-storey Beverly Hills-style home used as the backdrop in the reality TV show sold in October, 2021 for $14.5m — it is the highest sale on record in Broadbeach Waters.
The house was created by renowned Gold Coast designer Jared Poole and covers almost 2,400sq m with an incredible 115.1m of water frontage in a point position on main river.
Sliding glass doors open out from the open-plan kitchen, lounge and formal dining spaces onto a waterfront pavilion creating the ultimate alfresco entertaining space.
And entertain on the riverfront.
The indoors blends with the outdoors.

Other features include a gym, sparkling pool, wet bar and a fireplace.
There is a private upper-level balcony with views of the glittering lights of Surfers Paradise.
Even in the daytime, the views from the mansion take in the Coast’s iconic Jewel towers directly opposite and the rest of the cityscape stretching into the distance.
The house was designed by Jared Poole.
The house was designed to take full advantage of wide river views.
Amir Mian and Joshua Soineva of Amir Prestige Group are taking the estate to auction on January 24.
“The brief for the producers of The Bachelors was a quintessential Gold Coast property,” Mr Mian said.
“They wanted an entertaining area that was usable and private, a north facing view, the house to be new and at a calibre where it could be showed off on TV.
“This property ticked all those boxes and more.”
The pool sits alongside the river.
The house was meticulously designed.
Mr Mian said the vendors, who are Melbourne-based, had only used the property as a holiday home.
“The property has hardly been used and it’s really looking for an owner to come in and enjoy it,” he said.
“It’s not only a glamorous home but it’s a well-built home with a designer tag and it has one of the best indoor-outdoor entertaining areas I’ve seen.”
