Mater Prize Home is serving up a life of luxury for the lucky winner of their latest giveaway, an incredible Gold Coast acreage property complete with a brand-new full-sized tennis court.
Valued at $3.5 million, the prize package includes a lavishly furnished three-storey Hamptons-style home, along with an impressive swag of extras, including a $12,000 Australian Open finals experience.
The Hamptons-inspired home
Tickets in Mater Prize Home No. 308 are priced at just $2 each, while supporters can explore what’s on offer first-hand with the property open to visitors daily from 9am to 5pm until August 20, including on the Ekka Day holiday (August 16).
The prize is drawn on August 24.
Located amid peaceful Hinterland surrounds in the emerging acreage community of Maudsland, the home on an elevated 4006sq m lot offers spacious living across almost 570sq m.
The kitchen has a marble-topped island bench
It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a stunning kitchen with marble-topped island bench and butler’s pantry, a pilates studio, gym and sauna, multiple formal and informal living areas, a media room and wine cellar.
Venturing outside, there is a large swimming pool and fire pit as well as the championship-sized tennis court to warm up your spectator’s game ahead of cheering on the pros at the grand slam.
PropTrack data shows the median house price in the suburb is $900,000, up 5.3 per cent over the past 12 months, but newer acreage properties offer rich capital growth potential as the area attracts demand from interstate buyers and business owners in search of space and privacy.
Stunning Hinterland setting
Mater Lotteries director Simon Jarvis said every ticket purchased supported vital medical research and exceptional patient care.
“Mater Prize Home is part of Queensland’s rich social history and we are so proud to have handed over the keys to 307 lucky supporters who have won prize homes since 1954,” Mr Jarvis said.
“Every person who buys tickets has the chance to win this magificent home and to really ‘live large’.
“They’re also helping to play a vital role in bringing hope and healing to so many in the community, and we are so grateful for their support.”

Recent sales in Maudsland include a luxury Queenslander-style home built by The Block couple Jess and Ayden Hogan, which sold for $1.9m in just five days following a whirlwind campaign which attracted 28 offers.
Marketing agent Nathan Simon, of All Properties, said the 2020-built four-bedroom, three-bathroom estate drew strong interest from interstate buyers.
“Maudsland is going through a growth period for acreage properties, and we are receiving more inquiries for properties there than for comparable homes in Tamborine or in the Montego Hills estate in Kingsholme,” Mr Simon said.

With a fully equipped gym
Mr Simon said the area’s proximity to the motorway, with easy access to both the Gold Coast and Brisbane, appealed to interstate families in search of a tree or sea change, as well as business owners wanting to work remotely.
“You drive through beautiful scenery and bushland on the way into Maudsland, so you feel like you are miles away but really it is less than 10 minutes to the motorway and the Gold Coast city vibe.”
Rental demand for the suburb remained high, with 21 houses in Maudsland available for rent last month at an average of $790 per week, reaping annual yield of 4.8 per cent, according to PropTrack.
