Newlyweds, F45 founder Rob Deutsch and Nicole Perso, and the Albatross Ave villa purchased in 2019
F45 Training founder Rob Deutsch has bulked up his earnings with the sale of a luxury Mermaid Beach villa he had purchased before upgrading to an oceanfront mansion just over the road.
The beachside crash pad in one of Qld’s most exclusive markets sold for $2.85m after listing five days earlier.
Kollosche agents, Eoghan Murphy and Jay Helprin, marketed the Albatross Ave property, which went under contract just weeks after Mr Deutsch’s marriage to model, Nicole.
The couple is expecting their second child and have a young son, Jack.

Mr Deutsch purchased the modern four-level duplex for $2m in 2019, the same year he cashed out of the global F45 empire with plans to retire in the Sunshine State.
Last year, the entrepreneur secured a showstopper absolute beachfront mansion for $19m in an off-market deal handled by Amir Mian, of Amir Prestige.
The villa was listed for rent in November for $2,350 a week.
Mr Murphy said the four-bedroom, three-bathroom Albatross Ave villa was snapped up by a local buyer who was drawn to the building’s unique design and proximity to Nobby Beach’s thriving village scene.

The property has a rooftop terrace and ground-floor plunge pool, while design features include an aluminium facade, entry void, Blackbutt timber staircase, and solid timber flooring throughout.
Living and dining areas on the first floor flow through to a balcony, and the kitchen has a marble island bench and splashback, sleek black cabinetry, and integrated appliances including a coffee machine.

“Stock has been low across Mermaid Beach for the last two years, and a villa like this is a very popular option, not only for the traditional downsizer, but for buyers who may have wanted to buy a freestanding property but have not found anything suitable that has come up for sale,” Mr Murphy said.
Mr Deutsch launched F45 in 2013 with co-founder Adam Gilchrist — also a keen property investor — growing the brand from a single gym to a franchise with thousands of studios in 36 countries.
He has been busy in the real estate space since his exit, recently also reportedly dropping more than $36m on a Bellevue Hills mansion in Sydney’s well-heeled eastern suburbs.
