AN Instagram-famous all-white dream home inspired by a country barn has been snapped up for $3.075 million just four days after hitting the market.
The sale price smashed the suburb record in the emerging semi-rural community of Kingsholme, north of the Gold Coast, eclipsing the previous high of $2.667m set when the same property first changed hands in August 2021.
The home was built for entertaining
Marketing agent Brad Wilson, of Ray White Upper Coomera, said the sprawling single-level home known as the ‘Coastal Barn Dream’ attracted instant attention when it was listed late last week, with a number of private inspections taking place over the weekend and strong interest from interstate buyers.
Two offers were received, with a local buyer signing a cash unconditional contract for just over the listed price of $3m.

Mr Wilson said the five-bedroom, three-bathroom Stockman St home on a 4189sq m lot “ticked a lot of boxes” for the buyer and their family — but they planned on replacing the property’s full-sized flood-lit basketball court.
“They are going to be doing quite a bit of work, believe it or not,” Mr Wilson said.
“The new owner wants to build another big shed on the basketball court because they’ve decided they don’t need that.
“They are a local family with older kids who wanted a bit more land.”

House prices in Kingsholme have picked up almost 6 per cent over the past 12 months, to a median of $1.645m.
Mr Wilson said demand for acreage homes in the area remained strong, particularly for properties with unique, high-end attributes.
