Amalgamated Property Group secure approval for Broadbeach apartment tower Amaya

Gold Coast apartment seekers are set for a new chance to buy into the sought-after Broadbeach area, with Amaya, a new 33-level tower just 300 metres from the beach, set to launch.
The Canberra-based national residential property developer Amalgamated Property Group were given the green light by the Gold Coast Council this week to push on with the DBI designed development at 30 First Avenue.
There will be a range of two and three bedrooms on offer, with floor to ceiling windows and large balconies.
Amaya marks a return to the Gold Coast, and Broadbeach market for APG, who has previously created the Old Burleigh Road tower Verve.

DBI designed the Amaya with a distinctive exterior, which will feature individual designs for its east and west façades that facilitate maximum outlook opportunities and internal efficiencies. By night, the north and south faces will depict an elongated glass lantern.
Amaya will boast state-of-the-art resident-only facilities including a gym, sauna, steam room, pool, BBQ and patio, with a connection to nature established through extensive green, outdoor spaces with resort-style zones.

APG are working with their longtime partner Base Developments, who they have completed Ivy, Oaks and most recently this year, Kiara in Canberra’s Narrabundah.
Construction on Amaya is set to commence in October 2022 with demolition now underway, with intended completion in 2024.
