8 Sovereign Lane, Coomera Waters
Sleek and sophisticated, The Sovereign House received a Master Builders Award as the best home of its class on the Gold Coast.
The glamorous four-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 8 Sovereign Lane, Coomera Waters was completed 12 months ago by Resolve Constructions, with architect Tim Hodges tasked with designing a luxurious family home where natural textures lend warmth to the contemporary style.
It was awarded the 2022 Gold Coast Master Builders Award for Individual Home $750,000-$950,000.

Marketing agent Chris Parker, of Professionals – Vertullo Real Estate, said the property on a 762 sqm waterfront lot had received strong interest through the campaign from interstate buyers in particular.
“People walk in and are just wowed,” Mr Parker said.
“It’s sleek, it’s fresh and it presents beautifully with clean lines, and you have these walls of glass so the home is flooded with natural light.
“The owner styled the interiors and has demonstrated a real flair for selecting spectacular high-end finishes, and there’s also a fantastic open entertaining deck with the pool on the waterfront.”

Property records show the vacant block was acquired in 2019 by Lisa Theoharris, an interior design and architecture enthusiast who completed the Three Birds Renovation School prior to undertaking the project.
Ms Theoharris and her partner Adam Peck spared no expense building a low-maintenance haven where they planned to stay long-term with their two children, but an opportunity to acquire an acreage parcel saw them pivot to a different lifestyle and list their showstopper home.

The home’s floorplan comprises multiple living spaces across two levels, with polished concrete floors and high ceilings.
On the ground floor, the stunning kitchen has marble tiles and stone-topped island bench with an integrated fridge, completed by a custom champagne gold rangetop and bespoke lighting.
A guest bedroom with ensuite is also on this level, while timber stairs lead up to a separate lounge area and the remaining three bedrooms, including the waterview master with a very spacious walk-in robe and ensuite worthy of a five-star hotel.

Other home features include an extra wide garage with storage room, smartphone-controlled security system, Google smart lighting, ceiling fans and airconditioning throughout.
Mr Parker said the home was a standout in the up-market Coomera Waters community, an emerging area of the northern Gold Coast where some plots of vacant land were still available.
The picturesque easterly aspect afforded skyline views, along with bridge-free access from a protected wide berth pontoon to the Broadwater and Moreton Bay for weekend boating adventures.
The home goes under the hammer on September 2.
