Former Bachelorette winner Sasha Mielczarek has bought on the Gold Coast, with his new partner, Carly Cottam.
Mielczarek, who won the final rose from Sam Frost’s Bachelorette in 2015, and Cottam, recently celebrated their one-year anniversary holidaying on North Stradbroke Island.
They have spent $2.15 million in Burleigh Heads and, in a sign of the booming market in South East Queensland, paid 35 per cent more than the $1.6 million it fetched just 14 months prior.

The 2018-built, single-level home on 605sqm has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a media lounge room, multiple living and dining areas and a rear pool.
Cottam, a champion rower, founded the property sales and marketing firm MOTIV having previously been the marketing director at the dynamic Melbourne apartment developer, Gurner. Mielczarek recently sold his Southern Highlands new build for $2.6 million.
Tropical vibes.
The Bowral building block had been set to be bought with Frost, but by the time the 2016 settlements were occurring in the Retford Park Estate they’d broken up. The delay was in part due to indigenous artefacts being on the estate.
Modern.
Mielczarek, a builder by trade, pushed on with the build, and mid-last year completed the Hamptons feel home, which became a $1450 a week rental.
Mielczarek recently pocketed a record sale in the housing estate, which was subdivided off the longtime home of newspaper publisher James Fairfax.
Mielczarek has now moved onto his next Bowral project, with his mother Kym, having paid $1,315,000 for the rundown cottage, Chester.
