“I just walked in and said ‘I’m going to buy it’,” Ms McGuigan said.
“The great thing I love is we’ve got views.
“Our eyes soar into the treetops and above but we also have access into the land.”
The couple, who are originally from Western Australia, were drawn to the serenity the estate provided.
“It’s so quiet and it feels really safe,” she said.
“It’s something you can’t describe,
“It’s pretty unique.”

Since they bought it the couple have completely transformed the property.
“This place looked nothing like it did when we first bought it!,” she said.
“It was just a very run down property with no land access.
“We radically transformed the whole of the interior as well as the exterior with major works that took many months to achieve.
“It was a labour of love we felt this property deserved.”

“The actual position of this property is super protected,” Ms McGuigan said.
“When you get the massive storms, it’s as solid as the mountains around it.
Other features include water, a 15kw solar system and inverter and waste treatment plant.
Ms McGuigan described Austinville, as a “bit of a secret suburb”.
“The best thing about this place is it feels like you’re so far away but you’re literally eight minutes to Mudgeeraba,” she said.
“And the people in this area takes it to another level of amazing.
“It’s a real community out here, it’s honestly so magical out here.”
